Rory Gallagher: A Danelectro Bellzouki 12-String Electric Guitar

Vincent Bell model 7020, body with two points on bass and treble bouts, brown burst finish, two lipstick pickups with five control knobs, three-way selector, two plastic tortoiseshell pickguards, Brazilian rosewood bridge saddle and fingerboard, dot markers, headstock with logo and six-a-side Kluson Deluxe machine heads.

Similar to the Coral Electric Sitar, Vincent Bell was behind the design of the Danelectro Bellzouki. Bell got the idea to create a twelve-string guitar, with a body similar to a Bouzouki and electrified with the addition of pickups. Through his deal with Danelectro, he pitched the concept to them and, consequently, the Bell-Bouzouki was born, later known as the Bellzouki.

"I know Rory was a fan of Manolis Chiotis and I'm guessing he bought this Danelectro as it was an unique electric version of the Greek bouzouki.
Rory's 'They Don't Make Them Like You Anymore' riff was inspired by Manolis's 'Perasmenes mou agapes' apparently."
